How to Practise Evidence based Child Health course, 16-18 May 2011

This 3 day introductory course aims to help practitioners become more efficient at using the best available evidence in their clinical and policy decisions. The course consists of plenary seminars, small group problem-solving and appraisal sessions and practical training sessions on searching the literature to support evidence-based practice. Key features are an emphasis on multi professional groups and a high tutor-participant ratio, with tutors such as Professor Ruth Gilbert, Director, Centre of Evidence-Based Child Health, UCL-Institute of Child Health, London. Who Should Come? The concepts taught apply to all areas of health and social care and therefore the course is suitable for any health or social care practitioner.
