Join UCL's Easter Switch-Off campaign
During our Christmas closure, did you know that we saved a remarkable 100 tonnes of carbon emissions - that's equivalent of planting 1,667 trees! As we approach Easter, let's strive to surpass this achievement. There's prizes to be won for pledging to switch off. Help UCL reach its goal of reducing energy consumption by 40% and for its buildings to become net zero carbon by SWITCHING OFF this Easter! Make your pledge to switch off by Wednesday 27th March 2024 to be in with a chance to win prizes for your department and/or accommodation. There are prizes up for grabs for the egg-cellent department and the accommodation which has made the most pledges. Students and staff will also be entered into a prize draw for sustainability prizes, with goodies such as keep cups and books to be won.
