Don't forget to Switch Off this Easter!

Did you know that a computer left on overnight for a year creates enough co2 emissions to fill a double decker bus? Small actions such as switching off your PC, or mobile device at night can help! As we prepare to wind-down for the spring break, we'd like to remind you of UCL's sustainability commitments to reduce its energy consumption by 40%, and for its buildings to become net zero carbon by 2024. And w hile UCL has switched to 100% renewable electricity, the most effective way to reduce our carbon footprint is to reduce our energy usage, which you can help with by participating in the Easter Switch Off.    Find out ways you can get involved in the Easter Switch off campaign by visiting the UCL Sustainable website  for tips on cutting down on your carbon foot print, and more. NHS England Open Athens Resources

  Please note that there are changes to the following services from today (1 st   April 2022): 1. The  HDAS  interface to searching databases is no longer available. However, the good news is that all the databases that were available through HDAS are still available to GOSH staff though alternative interfaces. You can find alternative links to the databases that were available through HDAS on our  website .   2.  The  NICE Journals A-Z  list has been replaced by a new service called  Browzine . You can use this service to search or browse for the journals that are available to you with an NHS England Open Athens account. 3.  NICE Evidence  search has closed. This is not being replaced, but GOSH staff can now access the  TRIP Pro  database from anywhere by logging in with an NHS England Open Athens account. Trip Pro is a clinical search engine which finds references to high quality research evidence. It  includes more functionality and content than the basic version of TRIP.  Through T
