NHS England Open Athens Resources

Please note that there are changes to the following services from today (1st April 2022):

1. The HDAS interface to searching databases is no longer available. However, the good news is that all the databases that were available through HDAS are still available to GOSH staff though alternative interfaces. You can find alternative links to the databases that were available through HDAS on our website.

2. The NICE Journals A-Z list has been replaced by a new service called Browzine. You can use this service to search or browse for the journals that are available to you with an NHS England Open Athens account.

3. NICE Evidence search has closed. This is not being replaced, but GOSH staff can now access the TRIP Pro database from anywhere by logging in with an NHS England Open Athens account. Trip Pro is a clinical search engine which finds references to high quality research evidence. It includes more functionality and content than the basic version of TRIP. Through TRIP Pro, you have access to over 100,000 extra systematic reviews, millions of extra full-text articles, and the ability to search through ongoing clinical trials. You’ll also gain access to a database of medical images and videos.
