Don't forget to Switch Off this Easter!

Did you know that a computer left on overnight for a year creates enough co2 emissions to fill a double decker bus? Small actions such as switching off your PC, or mobile device at night can help!

As we prepare to wind-down for the spring break, we'd like to remind you of UCL's sustainability commitments to reduce its energy consumption by 40%, and for its buildings to become net zero carbon by 2024. And while UCL has switched to 100% renewable electricity, the most effective way to reduce our carbon footprint is to reduce our energy usage, which you can help with by participating in the Easter Switch Off.

Find out ways you can get involved in the Easter Switch off campaign by visiting the UCL Sustainable website for tips on cutting down on your carbon foot print, and more.

The Library team wishes everyone a great spring break!
