Remote services and Library closure


Please note that due to COVID-19 outbreak, the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health Library is closed until further notice. Library staff are working from home and will continue to provide services remotely.

 The Library continues to offer one to one support for literature searching, systematic reviews and Endnote, online or by telephone. Please email Library staff to request support:  ich.library@ucl.ac.uk


Journal article access

GOSH Library members can request an electronic copy of journal articles that would normally available via the UCL Library Explore Access Points using this form UCL electronic resource request form.

This online resource is available as usual. Sign in to your NHS OpenAthens account
with your username and password and click ‘My Resources’ to see a full list of available resources.


EndNote
This reference management software is freely available to all GOSH staff. EndNote can be installated on both GOSH and personal computers.

To make a request to have EndNote installed to your GOSH computer please email: GOSH ICT service desk.  Please note that full software installation will be done remotely overnight.

GOSH staff can also download a copy of EndNote Desktop to a personal computer. Please email Library staff for details on how to download and install software: ich.library@ucl.ac.uk

The Diagnostic And Statistical Manual Of Mental Disorders, fifth edition, is now available online at UCL via Explore, you can view it from  this link .  Authenticate your login with your UCL single sign-on.  GOSH staff library members can access the manual o n site in the library via the Explore Access computer (for e-resource access) during staffed opening hours.
