Your Health Collection – books and digital support resources from NHS Health Education England

NHS Knowledge and Library Services are working with The Reading Agency to provide a new collection of 10 books and 30 online resources to NHS staff via their library. In a new initiative, the collection will also be given to 120 prison libraries as well.

The theme of the collection focuses on supporting better general health, such as ageing well, menopause, men’s health, life as a trans person and better mental wellbeing.

You can find a copy of each of the 10 books in the Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health Library Wellbeing collection ( in the alcove by the printers next the entrance of the Quiet Study Room.  All books from our library can be borrowed for 8 weeks and renewed by simply signing into your online library account

If you work for the NHS you can register for an NHS OpenAthens account to access a wide range of selected evidence-based, healthcare and health sciences electronic resources.

If you have a question about any of these wellbeing resources please contact the GOS ICH Library team, email ich.library@ucl.ac.uk.
