CINAHL for ICH/UCL

The UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health Library will be having a complete makeover this summer. To carry out this work we will be closing from the 19 June until mid-August.

You can use any of UCL’s libraries. The closest one is the School of Pharmacy Library
What about borrowing books & using the MSc. dissertations held in the library? What about returning books?
Unfortunately, the library will be a building site and entry will not be permitted for library staff or users. Borrowing will not be possible and we regret that we cannot operate a fetching service.

UCL and Great Ormond Street hospital now have access to Emcare (Ovid)
Emcare (Ovid) covers all nursing specialties and nursing healthcare professions. The database includes international coverage and unique content not found in other nursing and allied health databases, including more than a thousand journals not covered by Embase.

This card is different from the ICH ID card, which is only of use at the ICH.The UCL card is recognised throughout UCL.Without it staff and students will not be able to access many library services and will not be able to gain entry to many UCL buildings including libraries.
Staff and students need the card to: borrow books and other materials, to request inter-library loans and to request items which are out on loan.Without this card they will not be able to use printing, scanning and photocopying facilities at UCL libraries, including at our library.
