UCL Discovery Plus – Open Access repository for Great Ormond Street Hospital researchers

Great Ormond Street staff  have now the  opportunity to make their published research more accessible and increase the potential impact of their work.  UCL Discovery Plus is a new service, hosted by UCL for NHS staff.  GOSH staff can use it to make their articles and other research outputs freely available for anyone to access, via a Google search, wherever possible.  Your work will also form part of a record of research activity at Great Ormond Street Hospital

NB. UCL authors should maintain their publication record and deposit copies of research publications using the RPS system, as detailed via UCL's Open Access pages.

How to deposit your work
Simply go to the UCL Discovery Plus deposit form, enter the relevant details and upload your document. UCLH library staff will check copyright permissions* before making it openly available.

*Note that many journal publishers do not permit the re-use of the final published version of journal articles. Publishers typically allow instead the author's "accepted version" or "post-print" of the article; this is the author's final draft, as accepted for publication, and this is the version we recommend you deposit.

Once Library staff have checked permissions, your document will be available to view online via UCL Discovery’s GOSH section .
