Virtual Learning Space Survey

Image
As you will know UCL Library Services is trialling aVirtual Learning Space for students in which students can study online in a "study room" with other UCL students. This new type of learning space has been developed as a response to a large-scale survey conducted in 2020 asking students which type of online tools they would want for individual study and peer group work.  UCL Library is interested to find out what your experience is of using the study space, the results will help develop virtual learning spaces as a complement to the on-campus libraries and Student Centre. The first 100 participants will receive a £10 Waterstones voucher, and you have the option to take part in follow-up focus groups. The  online survey  is open to all UCL students and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

If you have saved searches or other resources in PubMed, you will need to use a federated login to access your account. An example of a federated login would be a Google account. In PubMed, click on Log in . Select Google Account (or you can select one of the other options, e.g. ORCiD or Facebook). Sign into the account that you have selected. Once you have signed in, select the option Link to an existing NCBI account. Enter your NCBI username and password Select Continue . You will now be able to sign into PubMed with your Google account (or whichever alternative account you selected) and view everything that you had previously saved.

As well as ensuring that farmers in Global South receive a fair minimum price for their products, and basic workers’ rights, such as safe working conditions and guaranteed income, Fairtrade also works with communities to tackle problems resulting from changes in the environment caused by climate change through sustainable policies, practices and engagement. Why not participate in this year’s online ‘Choose the world you want’ campaign by joining the Fairtrade festival which brings together schools, universities, businesses, supporters, campaigners and farmers from across the world to celebrate, share and discuss why Fairtrade matters.   You can also find Fairtrade Fortnight events at Sustainable UCL .
